Some of my fondest memories as a child was going to Indiana to visit my Grandma and Grandpa McCormick. Gowing up, my Grandma always had us painting and creating all summer long. I used to beg my Mom and Dad to let me go visit year after year.
With this and Back To School in mind, I created this Paint Smock using a Men's Oxford Button Down Dress Shirt that I purchased at Goodwill for only $3.50! I used to make these for my students when I taught preschool many years ago; it was a great way to let the kiddos get messy painting and protect their school clothes at the same time. With a small amount of time invested you can create a one of a kind Paint Smock for your child too!
This particular Paint Smock fits a large age range of children.
On my blog in honor of my Dad's Birthday today and my daughter Anika's 12th Birthday on Sept. 30th, I will be giving away The Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge to one lucky winner.
All you have to do is Comment what you would make with this amazing cartridge and for who! I can't wait to see all of your comments! :-)
Hi, It's Kendra here with a super cute and environmentally friendly alternative to throwing away your soup, vegetable and other metal cans.
What is cuter than creating one of a kind gift wrapping for your whole family!
Just about everyone in the United States has opened a can some time in their life. If you have the right kind of can opener you can recycle your cans into adorable gift containers. You need a Pampered Chef can open that breaks the seal of the can instead of cutting it and leaving sharp edges.
Keep the Blog Hop Going! There are tons of more giveaways coming your way!

Hi! It’s Kendra here on this beautiful breezy, sunny Tuesday. I Hope that it is as beautiful in your neck of the words as it is in mine… I sure had fun on Mixology Crafts today!
Some good friends of ours were having their very first baby and my hubby thought it would be super special for me to make their soon to be new bundle of joy a Lady Bug quilt since that is her nursery theme. Here is what I came up with using the Cricut Expression and The Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge…

I had so much fun designing over at Mixology Crafts this week and creating a Birthday Banner for my youngest and oldest kiddos birthdays! Abraham will be 10 on Saturday and Abigail will be 17 on Monday! I am so proud of them both! And before you ask, yes it is super hard to do 2 birthdays that are less than 48 hour apart this time of year! The year Abe was born was super crazy as Abby insisted I was home for her birthday. That, let me tell you, was no easy feat! I arrived home about 5 minutes before she did.
They were not really amused with me this morning when I made them hold it for a photo in the chilly morning air. Can't you see how irritated Abe looks! :-)
Had to put this one on as Abby was getting really mad and did not want her photo taken and Abe was finally smiling for me! All I wanted them to do was hold the banner straight where it did not sag.
Was that really asking too much?
