Strawberry Picking Layout - Too Adorable!!!

It's Kendra here again with a fun and exciting layout that I wanted to share with all of you!  Strawberry Picking was created using the Cricut Expression and The Cricut Design Studio as well as the following Cricut Cartridges: Preserves, Storybook, Calligraphy Collection and Live Simply. Various colors of Bazzill, Cricut and American Craft cardstock were used as well as Flower Soft for the centers of the flowers.

When creating a layout like this I really like to start out by placing my photo mats.  This is going to give you a great base to work from.  My preference it to create a double mat but it is entirely up to you when you create your own layout.  I find that it is really fun if you let your layout play a little with your photo mats thus the overlapping of leaves, flowers, strawberries, frogs and insects.  The areas that overlap are not glued down so you can slip your photo into place easily.

Using Design Studio the title Strawberry Picking was welded togther and cut out twice.  I layered one on top of the other just to a little dimension.  Up close it seems to just hover over the Strawberries.

My glue of choice is Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Adhesive (The blue lid).  It is super easy to use and if you happen to wipe your hand on your jeans guess what...it washes out!

Head on over to Inspired By Jinger Adams to check out what is happening in her neck of the crafting/shoe world!  She is creating a brand new design team and I am so excited to be one of the many hopefuls to be part of it!  Go check out all the other entries and be sure to tell her that Kendra sent you!  :-)

I would love to know what your favorite part of this layout is?
I love comments! :-)

Christmas Layout using Everyday Paper Dolls and More!

So, now that I have Everyday Paper Dolls I am having entirely too much fun! Here is another layout that I made this week. Of course, I had to make the crawling baby as I have been dying to have a baby paper doll besides baby Jesus! I can't wait to try out the sitting one!

To create this layout I used Cricut Design Studio, The Cricut Expression, the 12 x 24 Cricut Mat, Paper Doll Dress Up, Everyday Paper Dolls, Plantin Schoolbook and Cuttin' Up!
To embellish the layout I used the Signo Gel Pen in Black and White, White Flower Soft, Stickles Glitter Glue and Bazzill Cardstock!
The Layout at an angle!

The Whole Family!

Close up of the Dolls!

All the Children!

The Crawling Baby! How cute is that!
