Christmas Layout using Everyday Paper Dolls and More!

So, now that I have Everyday Paper Dolls I am having entirely too much fun! Here is another layout that I made this week. Of course, I had to make the crawling baby as I have been dying to have a baby paper doll besides baby Jesus! I can't wait to try out the sitting one!

To create this layout I used Cricut Design Studio, The Cricut Expression, the 12 x 24 Cricut Mat, Paper Doll Dress Up, Everyday Paper Dolls, Plantin Schoolbook and Cuttin' Up!
To embellish the layout I used the Signo Gel Pen in Black and White, White Flower Soft, Stickles Glitter Glue and Bazzill Cardstock!
The Layout at an angle!

The Whole Family!

Close up of the Dolls!

All the Children!

The Crawling Baby! How cute is that!
I Love Comments!

  4. ....so Ken - ok looking for an HONEST opinion here - do you think that EPD is worth it - or is it sorta a repeat of the first PDDU?

I mean how much do they REALLY DIFFER Ken?

  6. Yo,
The cartridge on have one of a couple of the same things on both. That would be the Doll and the Doll head. It seems like everything else is different. I have a post with the cartridge handbook photos. Check it out!

Do you have any idea how much the Gypsy is going to cost? From what I understand, you DO NOT need DS to use it, am I right?

Thanks again and have a blessed day,

  14. Hi Kendra! Love the layout! I don't understand why you had to use the 12x24 mat though? Isn't the layout a 12x12? Did I miss something here? Thanks so much!

    Liz,
I always create my layouts on the 12x24 mats. The reason I do so is that I feel that I get more for my money and when I create the layout, even if I only use one side gives you about 1/4 to 1/2 inch more of space. Also, I ususally break up my layers into color sections on a 12x24 mat. That way, when I go to cut my layers I can usually get them all in one press of the cut button. I hope that this rambling answers your question! LOL!!

  16. Great answer Kendra! I was wondering the same thing (about the 12x24" mats), but never thought about it that way. You are right though... for the price difference... its almost like you are getting two for one. I have always thought that the bigger mats were bulky to handle, but I guess you get used that after awhile. Thanks so much for that TIP!!
