My Cartridge Storage Re-visited!

I know that I had posted my cartridge storage here on my blog recently but they were old pictures. My storage back then, was to store them in Cricut Green Photo Boxes. Since those pictures were taken, I have revamped just a little. I purchase a sturdier solution to store and transport my cartridges in. The purple containers were purchased from Tuesday Morning for only $4.99 each! What a deal!! And Yes, before you ask, of course I purchased all that they had! I am not sure if they are still available to purchase or not from Cropper Hopper or if they were being discontinued or if a Tuesday Morning near you would still have them available! It would be worth a trip to go look!

A close up of how I store my Cartridges, Books and Keypads! I tear out all the foreign languages one or two pages at a time and that leaves plenty of room to store the keypad inside the book!

This is how I store my Solutions and Exclusive cartridges. I created a .cut file with design studio and created little boxes. There are large eyelets on either side of the box to be able to alternate the side on which I attach the Organza Bags.

Shapes Cartridge Storage: Anymore cartridges and I will have to get another container!

Fonts Cartridge Storage: Same for this one! Once my Don Juan arrives I will have to start a new container!

Class Mates Cartridges: I also store blades for the Cricut machines as well as extra blades for the Paper Trimmer!

Disney Cartridges: Can't wait until the new Disney Cartridges come out so I can fill this container up!

What a Solution for my Solutions!

Ever since purchasing my Cricut Solution Cartridges trying to store them has driven me nuts! I don't use any of my boxes so I didn't want to purchase the Solution Boxes. I store all my other cartridges in Purple Cropper Hopper Embellishment Containers and just had the Solutions setting in there in one of the small dividers that come with the container with the key pads laying on top of each other. This was just not working for me! So the other day, I decided that I would just create a .cut file to fix my problem and here is my fix! I used Cricut Design Studio, the Cricut Expression and the following cartridges: Baseball, Campout, Cuttin Up, Daisy Chain, Home Accents, Indie Art, Jasamine, Soccer, Stone Script, Store Front, Street Sign, Wedding, Plantin Schoolbook and Makin' The Grade. My Way To Store All Of The Cartridges!

When you have as many cartridges as I do, you have to come up with some creative ways to store them. Let's face it! When I would go to Crops, I would have to take several containers just to bring all of my cartridges and once I got there where do you put them all? I now own every single cartridge with the exception of Cricut Sampler and Don Juan! This storage solution is tried and true. I can almost guarantee that once you try it you won't switch to any other storage solution!

One of my Cartridges laying out. The keypad is inside of the book. I carefully tear out all of the languages except English. Once those are torn out, there is plenty of space to lay the keypad inside of the Book.

What my cartridges look like when open

The Sachet bags that I use to store the cartridges in on the side of book spine. I alternate in alphabetical order from left to right where I place the sachet bags so the books are balanced in the box.

 

I just loop the bag thru the edge of the spine and Viola....

the sachet bag is ready to slip the cartridge into it!
