Kendra's Ultimate Scrapbooking Room! Tons of Photos!

This is my favorite saying because I am a very messy Scrapper.  When I get in my zone, paper goes a flying!

A Look at my Cricut Storage Wall.

A look at the room from the door way.  Sorry it is so dark.

My Cutting Closet.  This holds Sizzix Dies, Sizzlet Dies, Quickutz Dies, My Silhouette Machines, Stickles, Ink Pads, Zutter Machines and Owires, Big Shot Express Machine, Your Story Machines, DreamKutz Machine, My Digital Photo Converter, Binderie Machine and so much more.  It also holds most of my specialty papers like Handmade paper, Foils, Glitter, Flocked, Metallic, Pearl, Metals, Swiss Dot, and much more.

Close Up of The Cutting Closet

Close Up of Cricut Cartridge Storage (Purple Bins with Rainbow Labels), Prima Flowers (sorted according to color in Cracker Jars purchased at Target), Some of the different Cricut Machines including The Cricut Expression, The Original Baby Bug, The Cricut Create and last but not least the Cricut Cake machine.  You will aslo see the Quickutz die machines as well as 2 Cuttlebugs, A KNK machine (Klick-N-Kut), The Cricut GoBe's, a few layouts and of course a Sock Monkey!

This is my Paper wall.  There are things I have made on top of the shelf and a few layouts hanging on the side of my kiddos!

This is 4x6, 6x6, 8x8, 8 1/2x 8 1/2, 12x12 Paper Storage.  Most of the 12x12 paper you see here is printed cardstock which I really need to get rid of as I barely ever use it!

Embellishment Center.  This has things like paint, Glitter, Flock and much more!  The empty containers to the right are being used for a class right now.  They will be back soon!

My Fabric Wall.  I was a quilter before I ever started scrapbooking.

This is my Supply wall.  When I decided to re-model my Scrapbooking room, I realized that with baskets, and Boxes I never knew what I had and that if I did know I had it, I could not always find it.  The clear containers by Sterlite gave me modular storage that allows me to see exactly what is in the bins.  I have created a spread sheet with what is in my Bins so it is easy as pie to find what I am looking for.

This is my comfy chair.  It was one of the first pieces of furniture my parents ever bought.  I inherited it and love how it looks in my room.  Behind it are all of my empty Cricut Cartridge Boxes.

Another Embellishment Center.  This has Adhesives, Buttons, Brads, Pens, Beaded Purse Handles are so much more.

This is my Kids fort under my table.  You can see that there is a chalkboard that is magnetic and pillows under there with a light.  (Sorry about the glare)

Behind my layouts hides my Epson 1400 Large Format Photo Printer.

My son Abraham.  You can see my Ribbon Storage.  It is the Clip It Up Ribbon Organizer by Simply Renee

My centerpiece.  It is a Bunny Rabbit.  I need a Sock Monkey one.  Let me know if you find one.

Kendra's Ultimate Scrapbooking Room Finally Finished!

So, a while back I gave you all a sneak peak of my paper wall.  Well, now is time for the big reveal!  After months of Cutting, Sanding, Glueing and Nailing and lots of Splinters it is finally finished and organized!  There were many times during the process that I thought that I would never get finished.

To answer the question before it is asked a dozen times.  The reason I have so many Cricut Machines is because I travel teaching as well as teach classes out of my home.  I bring machines with me while traveling to allow those who want to try out the Cricut out to see if it something they want to purchase. (9 out of 10 times they do!)  At my home I just ask people to bring their basic scrapbooking supplies and I provide the Cricut Machines.  It makes it so much easier for them and me.

Remember though, one of the machines is the Cricut Cake machine.

Kendra's Scrapbooking Room Remodeling Sneak Peek!

I am going to give you a sneak peek of my Scrapbooking Room remodel that I have been working on for the last month and a half!  I am so excited and cannot wait to get it completed.  The wire racks have 12x12 paper and the bottom shelves hold 12x12 printed cardstock, 8 1/2x11 cardstocks, 6x6 cardstock and 4 1/2x6 1/2 cardstock.  I love that I am building the shelving with my neighbor and have been able to customize everything we have built so far!

What do you think of my sneak peak?

Rate My Space!! The Ultimate Scrapbooking Room!!

I am bumping this back to the top of my blog so we can reach the 250 people goal!  You are going to love the prize that I am going to be giving out!  My goal is to have a close to 5.0 star room.  I don't have the space or the desire to get rid of any of my stuff so no reason for someone to come to my house and force me to get rid of half of it!  LOL!!  So if you go to Rate My Space and like my room, please rate it as high as you like it!  Thanks so much for voting for me!

Hey everyone, I would love for you to take just a minute or two to head on over to hgtv.com and Rate My Space! If you don't mind, I would love for you to give it your rating and leave an awesome comment.
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!  Let's see if we can reach the goal of 250 comments!  If you leave a comment over there, please leave a comment here.  If the 250 comment goal is reached I will have some sort of a nifty give away!  So be sure to comment and stay tuned!

Kendra's Old Scrapbooking Room! Want to compare the old to the new?

Hello to All,
My husband recently had to go out of the country for 8 days. While he was gone I decided to re-do my Scrapbooking/Quilting Room. My friend Sonya and I spent day after day up there working for hours at a time to get it completed. We are both very pleased with the finished product! I for one am very proud that the table was built by us using 2 shelves that were given to us off the side of the road! I hope that you enjoy my redone Scrapbooking/Quilting Room!

8.5x11 Paper, Zutter O-wires and Chipboards & Wooden Stamps

The Desk that we Built! All of my Cricut Mats hang on the side of my desk.
You can see paper storage underneath.

Another view of my desk. I sit on the right side and when Sonya comes over she sits
on the left side. The dimensions of the desk are 6ft x 8 ft. It is plenty big enough that we can both run out Cricut's at the same time!
This is one of my embellishment towers. The containers are call tilt-a-bins. This is the perfect way for me to remember what embellishments that I have. You know the old saying out of sight out of mind. It is way to true for me. When I started organizing my room I found that I had tons of duplicates as I would purchase something and forget that I purchased it.
Another Embellishment tower. A girl can't have too much bling!
Clip It Up!

The kids Chalk Board. The perfect thing to keep my 2 youngest children occupied for hours!

8x8 Cardstock, 12x12 Carstock, Stacks, Paper in Iris Paper Holders. Quickutz Squeeze, Sizzix Dies.
Another view of some of my Paper storage!
My side of the desk! The purple containers on the right hold all of my Cricut Cartridges! And yes, I do have them all!
Here is a post of how I store my cartridges in my purple boxes!
My Sizzix, Quickutz Dies, Paper Trimmers, Chalks, Markers,Stickles, etc.....

Looking out from my Quilting area you see the Epson 1400, the KNK and a Cricut Expression. I am a total tool junkie!

The white bins hold a variety of items including Paper Bags, Tons of Punches and all the extra Stickles and Pearls that I have duplicates of.

This is my Paper Shelf. I have my paper seperated by Color (Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Gray, Brown, Black and White) and type (Cardstock and Printed/homemade).
My Primas are stored on the very top shelf!
Bathroom - Look you can actually see the floor! I am soooOOOOOooooo proud! This was a storage area for me for quite some time!

A view of my Quilting Alcove looking in. All of my fabric is color sorted.
Makes it much easier to create quilts!
Another View of the Quilting Alcove! This is for all of my Quilting Supplies.
You can also see my KNK in this picture.
My fabrics sorted according to Color and Shade!
I hope that you have enjoyed touring my Scrapbooking/Quilting Room. It may seen kind of a jumbled mess to you but to me it is a little piece of Heaven here on Earth!
