My husband recently had to go out of the country for 8 days. While he was gone I decided to re-do my Scrapbooking/Quilting Room. My friend Sonya and I spent day after day up there working for hours at a time to get it completed. We are both very pleased with the finished product! I for one am very proud that the table was built by us using 2 shelves that were given to us off the side of the road! I hope that you enjoy my redone Scrapbooking/Quilting Room!
8.5x11 Paper, Zutter O-wires and Chipboards & Wooden Stamps
You can see paper storage underneath.
Another view of my desk. I sit on the right side and when Sonya comes over she sits
on the left side. The dimensions of the desk are 6ft x 8 ft. It is plenty big enough that we can both run out Cricut's at the same time!
This is one of my embellishment towers. The containers are call tilt-a-bins. This is the perfect way for me to remember what embellishments that I have. You know the old saying out of sight out of mind. It is way to true for me. When I started organizing my room I found that I had tons of duplicates as I would purchase something and forget that I purchased it.
Another Embellishment tower. A girl can't have too much bling!
Clip It Up!
Another view of some of my Paper storage!
My side of the desk! The purple containers on the right hold all of my Cricut Cartridges! And yes, I do have them all!
Here is a post of how I store my cartridges in my purple boxes!
My Sizzix, Quickutz Dies, Paper Trimmers, Chalks, Markers,Stickles, etc.....
Looking out from my Quilting area you see the Epson 1400, the KNK and a Cricut Expression. I am a total tool junkie!
The white bins hold a variety of items including Paper Bags, Tons of Punches and all the extra Stickles and Pearls that I have duplicates of.
This is my Paper Shelf. I have my paper seperated by Color (Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Gray, Brown, Black and White) and type (Cardstock and Printed/homemade).
My Primas are stored on the very top shelf!
Bathroom - Look you can actually see the floor! I am soooOOOOOooooo proud! This was a storage area for me for quite some time!
Makes it much easier to create quilts!
Another View of the Quilting Alcove! This is for all of my Quilting Supplies.
You can also see my KNK in this picture.
My fabrics sorted according to Color and Shade!
I hope that you have enjoyed touring my Scrapbooking/Quilting Room. It may seen kind of a jumbled mess to you but to me it is a little piece of Heaven here on Earth!
OMG!! Love your room! When (IF!) my youngest son leaves home we will have his room as a craft room and the layout is almost identical to yours! I think we will use some of your ideas if you don't mind!

ReplyDeleteWow, what a wonderful room. I just came across your blog and noticed that you will be teaching a class in Columbia soon. Do you live in the area? I live in Lexington,SC. Do you ever teach on this side of town? Looking foward to reading/learning from you.
ReplyDeletePauline,
ReplyDeleteI teach in Columbia SC @ Scrappin'Creations and in Augusta GA @ Simply Scrapbooks. The Columbia Store would be so much closer to you than the Augusta Store. If you can try to drive to the Scrappin'Creations store. It is just off of Clemson Blvd. and Two Notch Rd. across the street from Target. It is a store that is definatly worth driving for!
What a wonderful place, can I come live with you? I'm so envious. I don't even have that much stuff in my store! All of your storage ideas are fantastic. If I had your room I'd never leave.
ReplyDeleteI find this super nice done very orderly, where I have more ideas of learning and experience
