I am so excited!  Today is my Birthday!  I have been waiting for years for this one to come around as you all know it is October 10, 2010 or 10/10/10!  I think that is just way too cool!  I remember when I was turned 10 years old thinking how neat it was that I was turning 10 on 10/10  but this is so much cooler!  For anyone else out there sharing my special day...Happy Birthday!

If you have not already signed up for the Office Help Cricut Cartridge Blog Candy be sure to do so!  The drawing will be help next Saturday the 16th of October!  Don't miss your chance to join in on the Blog Hop fun!

My oldest daughter Abigail came to me today asking if I could make a birthday present for her boyfriends Granny (who shares my birthday) and that her favorite color was Pink!  Here is what I came up with.  It is a Happy Birthday Note Book with a matching Birthday Card for him to give her.  Nicholas thought that it would be just perfect for her.

30 Days of Creativity Challenge - Day 28 - Weekend Cricut Class Conference and Fall Fun! Layout using Creative Memories Cartridge!

I have been super busy this whole weekend!  I had a wonderful group of Creative Memories Consultants and Customers come to Aiken for a Cricut Classes weekend!  They learned so much about the Cricut and we all had so much fun the whole weekend!
They kicked off the weekend on friday night at my house coming to see my studio and eating Chili and Baked Potatoes.  We talked and fellowshipped for hours.  These ladies were amazing and so excited to see the Cricut Imagine.

On Saturday, we kicked off the day with the Trick Or Treat Layout and the ladies had a blast learning all about Stickles and I must say, I think they are all addicted to them!  We followed that class us by eating a wonderful lunch at Atlanta Bread Company and when we arrived back at the hotel I taught them the Basic Cricut Class followed by the Cheerful Seasons Fall Fun! Layout Class.  The ladies could not wait to get started on scrapping after those classes and I headed home for an Awards Banquet with my wonderful husband Barton.

After dinner, I headed back to see how all the ladies were coming along and let me tell you, they were making good use of everything they had learned!  The pages they were making were amazing!

This morning was kicked off with Breakfast with everyone followed by a Design Studio Class and I think they are completely hooked!  I have made Cricut Finatics out of them all!

I want to send out a special Thanks to all of the wonderful ladies who put their Cricut knowledge in my hands this weekend!  You all were great!

Here is one of the layouts classes the ladies participated in this weeked!  This is my Day 28 - 30 Days of Creativity Challenge!  I used the Cricut Expression and Cheerful Season Cricut Cartridge to create this layout!

30 days of Creativity Challenge - Day 26 - One of my favorites! An Adorable Kittens Project "Recipe" Layout!

Ok, So I think this is one of my very most favorite layouts I have created in quite a while!  It is my Double Crochet Hat and Double Crochet Scarf Patterns that I made into an 8x8 layout!    The brown "ground" cardstock on the bottom is actually a pocket!  The adorable kittens and the unwound yarn are glued to the pocket and are from the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite Cartridge.  The Hat is a combination of The Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge and The George and Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge.  The Scarf is from The Speaking Of Winter Cricut Cartridge that was layered.  I think I have a new favorite for titles and it is The Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge.  I just love how the letters are mismatched!

30 Days of Creativity Challenge - Day 21 - Birthday Treat Bags!

Today is Day 21 of the 30 Days of Creativity Challenge and I have to admit that I was not all that creative today but accomplished what needed to accomplished.  I had to make over 20 Gift Bags for the children at Anika's 11th Birthday Party.  They were super simple to make and only took about 30 to 45 minutes to completly finish them all.  The kids were so excited about them and cannot wait to tear into them.

The Bags are from Clear Bags and are 4.25"X4.25".  I cut Double sided paper into 4.5"X4" rectangles and scored them at 2"  I used Glue Arts Permanent Tape and glued the bag in between the scored piece of Double sided paper and then filled the bags with an assortment of goodies!  This is an excellent way to jazz up the plain old treat bags of the past.
