May Arts Design Team - Taggie Blanket!

Hi!  It's Kendra here again bringing you an amazing May Arts Project.  It is super simple to make and takes less than an hour to complete.

May Arts "Taggie" Blanket!

You need 40 - 5 inches pieces of May Arts Ribbon
2 18x18 inch pieces of fleece
Pins
Scissors
Sewing Machine with Matching or Contrasting Thread

Directions:

Fold the 5 inch ribbons in half and sew the ends together at 1/4 inch.

Pin the Ribbons starting a 1/2 inch.  Continue pinning them every 1/4 inch along the edge.  10 pieces will ususally fit along the edge.

Sew the ribbon down along the edge.

With the 2nd piece of fleece, stay stitch about 9 inches along one side.

Pin this piece of fleece to the top of the ribboned piece.  Sew around the edge leaving the stay stitched area open so you can flip it.

Trim the corners and flip the blanket right side out.

Pin the opening closed and top stitch  at 1/4 inch.

Wrap your item up and watch how your friends react when they open up their gift!

Happy Scrappin'
