Hello to Everyone! I know it has been a while since I have posted and I wanted to share all the happenings that have been going on in my house. On the Monday before Christmas my husband was offered a position in Boulder Colorado and after much prayer we decided the Lord was pushing us to move. So instead of Scrapping I have been painting, cleaning carpets, organizing kids room, attic areas, the kitchen and bathrooms...whew, it still makes me tired just typing it out! ;-)
Tomorrow the movers arrive to start our packing. They said it will be a 3 day pack and a 2 day load. So for the next 5 days I am essentially grounded to our house. Once the house is loaded a few of my BFF's are coming over for a painting/cleaning party and then I am then driving to Tennessee to visit my BFF Jane in Cleveland. After spending the night with Jane I will be heading on to my parents just outside Berea KY. The kids and I will be spending the weekend there and then my dad is driving with us to Colorado.
Our household goods are supposed to arrive around the 15th of February and then the unpacking begins! My dad is so awesome that he told me he would stay with us until the 26th and help me unpack the house.
So until I get our house unpacked and my Scrapbooking Room back into shape keep hanging on. I can't wait to post pictures for everyone to see! I can't wait to see how my room is going to turn out at the new house in Broomfield!
If any of you out there live in the Broomfield/Boulder area be sure to contact me. I am going to be starting out from scratch! :-)
Happy Scrappin'
Boulder is such a great place! My sister lives there and LOVES it. I lived nearby for a year and wish I could get back. Hollar if you need any recommendations! :)
ReplyDeleteNot too much in the way of scrapping in Boulder proper, but 3 Archiver's stores in the Denver metro and lots of other fun stores!
OMG, if I had to choose a place to live other than here in beautiful South Florida, it would be Boulder, CO. Such a young, hip, vibrant area... you will love it out there. The air is so clean and the mountains so awesome. Best wishes; you made a wonderful choice. Oh, and Denver, and its amazing downtown, and Tim Tebow, and ..... Have fun!

I'll miss running into you at all the craft stores in Columbia!
ReplyDeleteWhen a company transfers you they don't usually give you much time but in the end it sounds like it will be well worth it. Be safe in all your travels and enjoy your new home.

Good luck on the move, having only moved across the state of California a few times they were relatively short trips and only with cats not kids. I hope you have a very smooth transition and your dad is totally awesome for helping you out.
ReplyDeleteMy parents live in Broomfield. There's a great Archiver's store close to there. Have fun getting acquainted with your new surroundings.

I live a few miles north of Broonfield in Wellington and am glad to welcome you to the area. We were born here and then left for three years and then gladly moved back. We love the seasons ans lots to do etc. I hope your new craft room is as great as this last one was. I am sure it will be eventually. Good luck in the move.
