27 very talented designers each recieved a package that contained the When Creativity Knocks Sock Monkeys Go BanAnas WCK VideoBook,(Which I must say is AWESOME!) one pair of FoxRiver: Original Rockford Red Heel socks, a JudiKins monkey rubber stamp and any three colors of Rit dye they chose. We were then given a couple of weeks to watch the how-to video and come up with our own Sock Monkeys.
I decided to create a traditional sock monkey with a few extras. I used the leftover pieces of the sock to create hair for my sweet monkey. I also sewed on earrings and created her a necklace and bracelet as well as a pillowcawse dress. I absolutely love how she turned out and cannot wait for you to help me name her!
Supplies:
Sewing Machine with Cream Colored Thread
Sock Monkeys Go BanAnas WCK VideoBook
3 FoxRiver Original Rockford Red Heel Socks
Polyester Fiberfil
Moda Funky Monkey Polka Dot Fabric
Red Grosgrain Ribbon
Red Wire and various seed beads
The Sock Monkey assembly took very little time. Less than 1 1/2 hours and that was not working on it the whole time. The dress and jewelry took probably close to that same amount of time. So for around 3 hours or so I ended up with an adorable Sock Monkey I will treasure for years to come!

Who ever comes up with the most creative name for my sweet Monkey girl will be sent the Judikins Sock Monkey Rubber Stamp. (So sorry for the photo. I am allergic to Rubber and my stamp is in a plastic baggie!)
